ACS Supplements, which stands for Athletic Strength and Conditioning, is a veteran-owned and operated brand that has built quite a reputation with its small but strong selection of products. ASC has just five supplements available at the moment with its stimulant and stimulant-free pre-workouts El Jefe and Sicario, the amino Bomba, and the stim and stim-free fat burners Demonio and Caliente.
In about one month, ASC Supplements is celebrating its third anniversary, and to go with the big day, it has put together a special edition version of its well-known pre-workout El Jefe. The product features several differences compared to the regular El Jefe, including a darker, alternative label design, an all-new flavor separate from its usual four, and a slightly different combination of ingredients.
If you've ever tried a regular L-arginine-driven Nitric Oxide (NO) boosting product, you've no doubt experienced that 'flattening out' period and lost your pump quickly. Even with extended-release formulas, your "perpetual pump" seems to be perpetually non-existent. Well, now there's a new clinically proven ingredient available just for Mutants that forces stronger, longer, and more effective pumps than any other before it. It's called Hyperox, and this clinical strength compound can only be found in new Mutant Pump - the world's strongest muscle pump stimulator.
The fact is, getting and keeping a full muscle pump relies heavily on a relatively unknown compound produced by your own body called Phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5). PDE5 is a destructive enzyme that acts to hinder the biochemical processes that lead to a more powerful muscle pump, and until now, nearly every ordinary L-arginine -driven NO product has failed to block its effects. That's why only Mutant has injected new Mutant Pump with both clinically-proven doses of L-arginine and the bioactive compound Hyperox, the most powerful new PDE5-blocking ingredient legally available. Hyperox is the first PDE5-blocking ingredient of its kind, and is designed to stop the destructive PDE5 enzyme dead in its tracks, keeping your muscle pumps hard, full, and long lasting. With Mutant Pump, not only will you boost NO production beyond all previous limits with its clinical dose of L-arginine, but Hyperox will extend the lifespan of every NO molecule flowing through your veins. The result is maximum saturation of NO that will actually force your muscles to continue expanding giving you insane Mutant size and an explosive pump that will last long after your battle in the gym is over.
Mutants don't follow the crowd. Mutants are different...for all the right reasons. That's why new Mutant Pump is making its own path by leaving all those sketchy stimulants out of the formula that make you wired. We don't waste the room in your serving with caffeine and other crap that do nothing but deflate your pump. Nope, Mutant Pump is only loaded with the most pump-inducing ingredients known to science...that's it, all pump all the time. New Mutant Pump is for those who want a pure unadulterated pump...period!
At the microscopic level, the powerful NO molecule is available in your blood for only a few seconds (again, even with a sustained-release formula). Then, through a series of biochemical processes, it's converted into Cyclic Guanosine Monophosphate (cGMP), which acts to regulate various metabolic processes in the body, and is a huge driving force behind your pump. However, the premature death of your pump occurs when PDE5 converts cGMP into GMP. Once this conversion takes place, it immediately terminates the life of your pump. And this happens with every regular NO product on the market, because each basically works off the same mechanism – the L-arginine-NO pathway. So essentially, the NO you're producing as a result of these products is simply being shut down by PDE5 at a rate about as fast as your body can make it, and thus, you'll never reach maximum NO saturation or be able to keep your muscle pump.
In fact, Mutant Pump works off two pathways, not just one. By combining a precise dose of L-arginine and Hyperox, Mutant Pump blunts the effects of PDE5 and forces a rapid influx of blood into your muscles. With virtually unlimited blood flow to your muscles you not only experience a more commanding, extended pump, but also an accelerated increase in critical musclebuilding nutrients and oxygen, further augmenting the anabolic process for superior gains in muscle size and strength.
Stage 1: Nitric Oxide (NO) diffuses into the smooth muscle cell where it activates the enzyme guanylyl cyclase (GC) causing an increase in the synthesis of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which acts to regulate various metabolic processes in the body.
Stage 2: cGMP is then broken down by PDE5, an enzyme found in smooth muscle that can negatively affect your ability to get the best pump possible. It's at this stage in the complex NO biochemical pathway that regular L-arginine-driven NO products drop the ball – they simply fail to address this NO inhibitor that restricts NO production. This is where the proprietary ingredient Hyperox, which can only be found in new Mutant Pump, comes in to play.
Stage 3: In combination with L-Arginine, Mutant Pump has been able to push NO production past all previous limits with its exclusive ingredient Hyperox. In fact, Hyperox is so strong that it works quickly to blunt the activity of the PDE5 enzyme and allows cGMP levels to increase substantially.
Stage 4: The powerful cGMP molecule promotes a cascade of biochemical events that result in greater smooth muscle relaxation, allowing you to finally harness the full power of NO for more commanding muscle pumps and to help trigger new muscle growth like never before.

All American EFX has been researching pre-workout formulas for well over 2 years. We wanted to make darn sure we developed the very best product we could possibly offer. And one way to do that was to see exactly what we were up against. So we literally bought and used no less than 9 of the leading formulas and put them all to the test. Here's what we found...
These things are supposed to be about ENERGY. But we encountered 2 major issues with them. #1: We either lost energy during our training, which KILLED our intensity and power or #2: We suffered a severe post workout crash to the point where most of us didn't want to do jack for the rest of the day. Either way we wanted to AVOID both of these training killers at all cost.
The majority also gave us stomach aches, and some also produced what we called a "hangover". To be fair, there were a couple of standouts in the mix. But we knew there had to be a way to slam something down, go "punish the iron" with maximum brutal intensity, and then leave the gym feeling like we'd really killed it that day. Isn't that why we put our bodies thru hell and back?
So we set out to fix what we saw as major flaws. Then, we dialed in the formula by innovating it with some pretty aggressive and innovative technologies. The end result is a product that offers you a way to experience the most hardcore workouts ever! You get everything you need in just one hyper-concentrated dose to go in and "Punish The Iron"!
There's no feeling like it anywhere... The "pump". It's the sensation that has the dedicated among us coming back to the gym day after day, year after year. Yeah, admit it - it's an addiction. But the pump is much more than a feeling, a fleeting rush... The pump is essential in our sport, for it signals the start of new muscle growth. With each pump-inducing rep, nutrient-rich blood floods the working muscle cells, engorging them. This process of "cell volumization" kick starts the anabolic process. Enter Animal Pump.
